Tracking and reporting progress on your Goals

Learn how to use the Goals section to monitor and report on the progress of your Goals.  

Once you have created your Goals and linked them to Opportunities and Solutions, the Goals section becomes a powerful tool to monitor and share progress on your Goals. Try using it in the following ways:

• Aligning stakeholders: The Goal section is a great place for pulling stakeholders onboard—it’s a singular place where business Goals and customer needs come together. Using the matrix view, you can easily prioritize all Opportunities related to a Goal.

• Delegating responsibilities: From the main view of Goals you can also easily track who’s responsible for each identified Opportunity and Solution, as well as who’s responsible for the overall business Goal. This keeps everyone up to date and accountable for their piece of the work.

• Reporting on progress: With TheyDo's status tags, you can track the progress of each of the Opportunities and Solutions that fall under each Goal. We recommend using the comment function to provide more detail on the updates of each Opportunity and Solution.
